The foundation
The School for Social Transformation (SST) is Ignite’s experiential, residential leadership journey for aspiring changemakers. Participants learn with communities, explore local challenges and develop community action projects.
Editions explore themes including climate change, active citizenship and constitutional values, education, gender and more.

SSTx is a collaborative, partner-led edition that adapts the SST methodology to a particular theme, community or problem area. Ignite and the partner bring their strengths together to connect learning with practical, grassroots action.
The theme, audience, format and support are shaped around the collaboration — not every SSTx edition follows the same timetable.
