SST changemakers learning together

What is SST?

The School for Social Transformation is The Ignite Foundation's flagship residential leadership journey, helping young people lead change in their own communities. Participants live and learn together, and each edition goes deep on one issue — climate change, education, gender equity or active citizenship. The common thread: understand a problem with the community before proposing solutions.

The SST11 theme

SST11 puts the Constitution into everyday action.

  • See how justice, liberty, equality and fraternity shape community life.
  • Turn citizenship from an idea into action, right where you live.

Nine days at the Changemakers Ashram

The Ashram is in Chakkittappara, Kozhikode, on land bordering the Malabar Wildlife Sanctuary. You will learn, restore land and live with nature alongside farmers, Kudumbashree groups and volunteers — sharing meals, reflection and dialogue under the trees.
